Join us for a nature-focused journey into the heart of Andalucía’s White Villages, where the rare and majestic Pinsapo (Spanish fir) still thrives. This immersive experience blends spectacular mountain landscapes with white village nature walks, focusing on the relationship between local communities and one of Spain’s most iconic native trees.
Our journey begins with a scenic drive through the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, where you’ll pass through ancient cork oak forests and rugged mountain landscapes. Our first stop is Grazalema, a charming village known for its picturesque whitewashed houses and its central location in the Natural Park, and you will learn about how the local climate benefits the Pinsapo population.
Next, we continue our adventure, driving through Las Palomas Pass, where we’ll stop for breathtaking panoramic views. From there, we descend to Zahara de la Sierra, an enchanting hilltop village overlooking a turquoise reservoir. Here, we’ll explore its narrow streets and the only Pinsapo forest within city walls.
After an hour of discovery in Zahara, we’ll return to Ronda, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Andalusia’s most stunning villages.

Light Backpack – A small bag to carry your essentials without weighing you down.
Sunscreen – Even on cooler days, UV rays can be intense.
Light Jacket or Layer – If visiting in autumn or winter, temperatures can be cooler in the mountains.
Water Bottle – Some villages have fountains, but it’s always best to bring your own.
Camera or Smartphone – The views are spectacular—you won’t want to miss a photo opportunity!
Cash & Card – Some local cafés and shops may only accept cash.

- Zahara de la Sierra, where you’ll have over an hour to explore the village’s urban pinsapo grove and surrounding viewpoints
